Since the release of Sophie Ellis Bextor’s album “Perimenopop” in September, there is now a Christmas remix of the track “Time” re-imagined as “Christmas Time” (so appropriate for this time of year!) Adding gentle touches of jingles and bells, it also arrived with an emotional official video. In it we see Sophie and her family through the years in Christmas photos, including images of that one period when Sophie hair was entirely blonde. The video closes with a home movie of her grandpa leading the family through the Christmas pudding song and conga line tradition. Very British and all so wholesome.

Nick Frater wrote: I've been off the socials for a while.....not for any digital detox, but more because Nick Frater Music and family moved in to a building site in September and have been full in full-on DIY/renovation chaos......but what a lovely surprise to find that Dave Cromwell, who writes exceptionally detailed and considered reviews, has included Nick Frater Music 's Oh Contraire! in his best of 2025. All the albums on this list are worth time in your ears....but obviously mine is probably best π ho ho ho
Love the confidence that yours is most definitely *The Best* (of The Best) Nick Frater Music! π Much like MY "Best Of" Feature is the Best of all those published this time of year! π
