Hard to classify I would say. And it reminds me of Fool's Garden recordings. I like the "space" in their sound. It doesn't sound like it's recorded in a small room or a box, it's got some reverb to it and THAT'S what I always apprecieate about music.

I like the interview 'cause I always look forward to reading what musicians got to say about their creative ways. Very cool.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7292741862763113147.post-90062551891172211152009-12-12T22:19:15.141-08:002009-12-12T22:19:15.141-08:00Thanks for the props on my interviews, Mr. Smork.

Can't disagree with anything you say there.

Yes, Mr. VP - my first for the month. It's been a busy one. Check this band out if you get the chance, I have a feeling you'll appreciate the sound.DaveCromwellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12626814069731367862noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7292741862763113147.post-90225180266213275122009-12-10T11:05:18.849-08:002009-12-10T11:05:18.849-08:00Good interview DC not heard of this lot before.......Good interview DC not heard of this lot before....First for a month eh ?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7292741862763113147.post-7711988575229551682009-12-09T08:48:04.091-08:002009-12-09T08:48:04.091-08:00I had recently left a comment in regards to anothe...I had recently left a comment in regards to another band’s new song, and a certain someone had noticed that I had put a bit of myself into the offering. Wary of repeating history in this new endeavor, I found it hard to separate myself from the participation in which I was actively engaged. There were no accompanying videos in this Waster article, so there was no passive entertainment before me. Instead, my mind wandered to wherever Nathan’s answers to Dave’s insightful questions took me, but on a personal level whereby my own memories and thoughts about a subject intermingled with Nathan’s responses. Therein lies the beauty and entertainment value of READING a review, albeit one conveying a musical experience.
As for Holiday Shores, they have quite an original sound, and a joyful one at that. I was also admiring their stage setup, which featured a table of two juxtaposed keyboards oriented in opposite directions. This allowed for a number of various visual and sonic combinations. Each keyboardist was actually an accomplished quitarist as well, and depending upon the material, they could showcase two active keyboard parts, two active guitar parts, or one player taking a particular role and then switching off with his counterpart at another time. Considering the small stage of Union Hall’s, you had to tip your hat to their ergonomic design and execution. Bravo to the rhythm section as well.ViewFromSpookysDoghousehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18338262684051252873noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7292741862763113147.post-49546630694731861602009-12-09T06:07:57.825-08:002009-12-09T06:07:57.825-08:00Great photo's :)Great photo's :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7292741862763113147.post-20127717644855058742009-12-08T16:29:31.038-08:002009-12-08T16:29:31.038-08:00oh.... nice feature.
